A history of the conjunctions of naked eye planets.

(an extract from the new factstory " From the darkness to the bead of planets. " by Sepp Rothwangl)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following article follows to some basic questions, and brings a large surprise to the daylight. In the book
STAR PLOTING 2000 this was explained already, however in the factstory (appearing soon) it is brought at the ("time turning") point ! If You like to have a (only German yet) manuscript of this Fact- Story, please email calendersign@teleweb.at.

In the Year 2000 a very rare and remarkable planetary alignment is taking place! All the ancient "naked eye" planets appear in ONE constellation of the zodiac and occure in the heliocentric world view in a planetary bead. On May, 5th also Moon is part of this bead.

Please click to start the planets run until May 5th, 2000 (Sorryly only the Moon cannot be showed)

Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn occure within a span of 30ø and thus they are not visible because of the light of the Sun and are all vanished from the nightsky.
Similar necklace like string of planets were in many ancient cultures points of beginning of calendars, eras, dynasties and myths, even reports of creation of the world.
Thus for example in Jewish calendar, Chinese Zhuanxu dynasty, India Kali Yuga and many other myths and fairy tales.
Such a rare conjunction was since ever an arbitrary in the attempt of human beings to find a point of orientation in time.
Very remarkable planetary alignments like such beads became like an anchorage milestones for calendars.
Even the Year 2000 is such a an anchorage. It is of no random origine that it takes place simultanious with a remarkable planetary bead.(more)

Our Place In Space: The Implications Of Impact Catastrophes On Human Thought And Behaviour

Gerrit L. Verschuur

Physics Department, University of Memphis

Somewhere in the earth's future lurks a fiery cataclysm that will be triggered by impact with a large cosmic body. When this happens, it will be no more or less than another instance of mindless violence that has shaped our planet and created the context within which life emerged and evolved. Comet and asteroid collisions with earth are now seen as crucial to the origin and evolution of life, and, as many of us appreciate, the origin, evolution and destruction of civilizations. Today, we confront the stark fact that we live on a planet that has been shaped by violent and catastrophic events, catastrophic from the point of view of species and civilizations that might have been unfortunate to experience them, yet creative from the point of view of those that followed. This circumstance is still with us. (cont)
