ZeroKnowledge is on the "right" track ... because of this is it *very* easy to embarass a poorly thought out "strategy".

I was involved in numerous arguments at Novell about the "proper" architecture of identity management systems, and the power and design of communities. It's actually a fairly simple problem if you spend the time to thoroughly examine the "problem space" ...

But there are those people who believe that sucking up to the big companies is going to give you a way to ride coat-tails ... i.e. parasitic relationship ... and that centralized control of information is power ... i.e. communism? I believe that in the long run these are poor strategies and will be proven out in time. Looks great on paper ... ;-)

I still think that the "battle" can be won, but someone at Novell needs to be open to listen ...

P.S. ZCentral (Zkey) now has WAP support for wireless devices, in addition to their Pilot sync capabilities ... they are on a roll. If only they would join forces with ZeroKnowledge I think they would have this market wrapped ...
