I'll tell you one that I didn't call that took me by surprise..... Altavista becoming a portal... I have sice started using alltheweb.com as my primary search engine..... but me-thinks Lycos will buy them out (Lycos uses them for MP3 searches.) Even though Search engines really suck for MP3 searches...I think Lycos will see the true value in having a powerful standalone search engine... If you want to to find MP3s go to napster.com which has been giving the RIAA Hemorrhoids If Altavista had any true bravado they would buy out Streambox & Destiny Media right now..... or will they wait until Urlman makes them a couple of million dollars too???
