Jim, with Fiber optics hot now. What about FBCE as a speculative play. It does'nt appear to be discovered yet.

November 29, 1999 FiberCore Announces 2000 European Contract

CHARLTON, MA-- (BUSINESS WIRE)--FiberCore, Inc. (Symbol FBCE).

FiberCore, a leading manufacturer of optical fiber and preform for the telecommunication and data communications market, with production facilities in Jena, Germany has been awarded a contract by a major cable manufacturer in Europe valued at 2.4 million EURO ($ 2.5 million) for singlemode and multimode optical fiber. This represents over 10% of sales for 1999 and is from an existing customer to the Company's wholly owned subsidiary in Germany.

The Company recently announced the introduction of their line of ValueGradeÒ and EconoGradeÒ optical fibers. These fibers are available in single-mode and multi-mode designs, and will be ideally suited for Feeder Loop, Fiber-to-the Curb, (FTTC), Fiber-to-the Home (FTTH) and Fiber-to-the Desk (FTTD) applications.
