Unless AMD has rewritten the calendar it's at least slipware. In my calendar January is not in the fall.

Are you talking about Kryotech? Or a real, fan-cooled 1 GHz Athlon in January 10, 2000?

Back here on Planet Earth, I wouldn't expect a 1 GHz Athlon to come until the 2nd half of 2000, if you don't include Kryotech.
