Welcome back whoever you are.
We need to get some more activity into this thread.
It's a sad sign when you get Winspear news from the SUF thread first as I just did. Borrowed this one from Goalie with thenks.

Cheers

FYI - This from CBC Newsworld Online (www.newsworld.cbc.ca)this morning:
Third diamond mine to be
developed in N.W.T.
WebPosted Mon Nov 29 08:52:32 1999

YELLOWKNIFE - The diamond boom continues
in the North. Mineral testing at a site northwest
of Yellowknife has Windspear Resources
planning for Canada's third diamond mine.

Samples from Snap Lake indicate one of the
richest finds on the global scale, second only
to Diavik -- another Northwest Territories site
and the source of much business confidence.

Windspear is confident it will get the go-ahead
from Environment Canada to develop Snap
Lake, 250 kilometres northwest of Yellowknife.

The company has already applied for land use
and water permits to start work, and has
started purchasing supplies for the
construction of the mine.

Results from bulk samples taken last spring
indicate a 20-million-tonne deposit of
reserves.

Project manager John McConnell says
Windspear plans to spend $241 million.

"We anticipate pre-production, open pit and
underground development starting in January
of 2002, construction of the plant and
infrastructure starting in January with
production beginning in July of 2002,"
McConnell told CBC News.

Windspear estimates the company will earn
back its initial investment six years after the
mine goes into production.

Regards. Goalie.

Mikey - You may have missed a promo/price rise cycle but by the looks of things we're going into another one right now. All the usual suspects are showing up on this thread again and that can only mean one thing ... promotion.

Welcome back, hope you got a tan at least. Yes, not the same thread at all. Geroge is over on Rex now, doesn't post much any more, has a newsletter now. Walt hasn't posted since July - Member 3404782

Posting of any value goes on over here now - forums.canada-stockwatch.com

This thread seems to have attracted those more interested in moronic personal attacks, as you just saw. I don't have time for it any more. Looks like the stock should move, and that's good, i'm still sitting on a few after selling way too many before going south just a little short of a year ago now. It probably deserves more attention from serious money than it's getting currently, but that will come in time. I would pick some up but every nickel seems to go into Jordex lately, and that will be a position of several months or perhaps years. Still fond of Winspear though, it treated me well, what the hell i should grab a few.

Don't miss John Paquet's histrionics over the winter and spring ... kind of funny to look back on now ... i only posted on a whim, for the grub ... the old thread is gone .. all things must pass .... cheers
