Goutama, I was one who did care if the 750 was released this quarter or next. However, releasing it now makes sense from a financial point of view; because of the cumine shortages, if AMD has any volume on the 750, they will cleanup, making this quarter even more profitable.

And of course the stock is benefiting as well.

BTW I spoke to a friend this AM and encouraged to him to buy AMD. While telling me that AMD is a loser, he went online. When he saw it was up 2, he hung up so that he could place his order, yelling at me that I should have told him sooner.

Unbelievable!!!
