Bill,

Thanks for comments. Yes, I continue to be long here but again for different reasons than most on the thread.

Once PALM is divested it will be only COMS. COMS has done a good job at investing in start-ups and this will help their earnings but of course it will be transparent since they will not be from operations. PALM is taking CE to task - no question.. but again this is PALM not COMS and we should look at the two discretely so that we are better able to value our investments in the future - so we agree there.

COMS however has had a lot of announcement and "arm-waving", but nothing material has been demonstrated - yet. I agree that the arm-waving they're showing us looks promising but some COMS shareholders have seen that before from this company. At the end of the day COMS as a company (without their investments and without PALM - two things that will go away real soon) is still losing market share and is showing flat revenues in a market that is growing at an unbelievable pace. I like COMS because of PALM. And I'll hold COMS to get to PALM, but if COMS doesn't show some ability to perform over the next two earnings periods I'll sell COMS the second I get my PALM shares (well maybe I'll wait for the dead-cat bounce). I suspect there are many more out there like me.... just a guess.
