Exactly. Which processor do you think has the better L2 cache and the more popular SIMD enhancements? All factors should be counted in determining which processor is the fastest. After all, this isn't a very convincing slogan: "The FASTEST chip in all the land, if you don't count L2 cache and SSE!"

Nah, I missed it. To paraphrase Jay Leno, "You know the guys at the YUK Register check their facts, recheck, and then check again!" I could call the Psychic Friends Hotline and I'd get information just as accurate. At least reading the Register is free ...
