Anklebiters; once final post today; a helpfull hint and basic strategy

It's really this simple.

1. quit trying to trade "stocks"
2. simply trade the people on this thread

ie: sell when the congratulations, whooplahs and euphroia posts seem to peak and buy when the ankle biting, sniveling, whining and the total number of posts dry up - as this silence is indicative of margin call pain, capitulation, trumatic shock and "this" is really when to buy.

It is much easier and often more profitable to trade the traders themselves - than it is to try to trade the stocks.

ciao`

William JH, I feel his pain <g>. Gary has made some truly spectacular calls on the OSX and the price of oil. He's made another one here on FGH. I'm just hoping he's right on the ultimate bottom. Gary's wave analyses seems to stand him in good stead with indexes and futures. I have long wondered why he doesn't shuffle off this STOCK mortal coil, leave us plebes behind, and trade futures. His system seems as if it would do exceedingly well there. But, of course, only he can answer that question.

William--Your right on! I do (did) own those turkeys. Still own HRC and MDR, sold RRC---I don't mind admitting to mistakes (vbg)---The last 2 months have actually not been kind to me, even though the techs zoomed. HRC and MDR both had eps announcement bombs. When that happens, even wavers run...I seem to be doing somewhat better with the averages--which is what EW was designed for anyways. But all in all, I'm not a happy camper these days, in contrast to the momentum guys playing 'buy high, sell to a greater fool higher'. such is life.
