I bought in PXD at its lows this year and punched out at its highs. The valuation of indeed compelling and still seems to be. However it has underperformed more recently so I too wouldn't chase it.

The ODB Portfolio is doing pretty good today...it's short. Here is what we entered last week (all short positions) as reported in ODB: HAL 41 9/16 Current: 38 5/8 Stop: 42 SLB 64 15/16 Current: 60 3/8 Stop: 65 3/8 NE 28 7/16 Current: 27 5/16 Stop 29 1/2 BHI 25 15/16 Current: 25 7/16 Stop: 27 7/8 Stops adjusted at end of day. We have stop loss marks set to protect profits and capital. We will adjust those stops as prices move. On short positions we trade with 1/2 of the normal dollar amount to limit risk, or about $5,000 per position. big atoffshore.com
