APA selling way overdone. I have a gut feeling this is going to rebound very fast.

With decent API/EIA numbers, APA will bounce back quickly.

I have searched but can't find any news....was there a downgrade today?

Sorry for the double post folks, guess Gary finally got to me. Put to call ratios I pay attention to. Didn't realize it was that bad. I will be looking at some oex puts here.

Still a Bull just pulling in my horns after that info.

Thanks for the heads up on that one Gary.

Gary, put/call ratios, trin #'s, vix #'s, are all something I can deal with. Those are real. For me the ad line wasn't enough, neither was the buy the dippers are all idiots talk. Don't see more than a sharp bull market selloff - eminently tradeable though. All the worlds bourses are extended and some correction is very much in order. The question is, is it the big Kahuna. IMO - no. On this sell off coming up we'll see if you get that ad heal up that you called for at the previous lows. My bet is that it may come at index levels that are higher on an absolute basis.

Just remember The Nikkei, Hang Seng, Tse, FTSE, Dax, Cac40, and Bovespa all decively blew past old highs after lengthy consolidations. Very much bull market action. Can't be denied IMO. However, looks as though a 50 point drop in the OEX is now in order. The world markets as well, just starting to run out of gas here. May add to my put position tmw based on intra day price action.

Big Bear? Not on your life, will be loading OS stox as much as possible.

OK So I'm saying OEX has a shot at 700, long term rates - 6.5.

So, you got an OEX and rate call? Short term that is. Let's watch that ad line on the sell off, may tell a lot.

I agree that the DOW and COMP are not in good shape (Just started shorting and buying puts in INTC,HD,AAPL,UAL,AMR) but I think the high multiple money from those Indexs are going to rotate back into the Energy/Commoditiy/Utility sectors. This looks like same thing we saw in April-July this year.

I think you posted that 77.20 was support on your E-Wave work, where is your short term support now that we closed below?

Gary Burton,(NAO)

Thanks for posting your take on the markets, that is important information and like Big Bull, views I can use!

As for the NAO, it has once again turned strongly positive, the bane of all snow lovers and oil investors. This agrees and reenforces the weekend forecasts for the Mid Atlantic which are calling for a warming trend to start in five days.

Crapola!

Best Regards,

Roebear
