Edwarda, I think many of you know that I have worked on the Middle Eastern Peace Process for the past 16 years..If we could negotiate a Peace Accord between the Palestinians and the Israelis, I believe it is possible to have a peaceful discussion on this thread without the use of the good old SIGMUND FREUD LABELING PROCESS. "I CAN NOT BE FOLDED, SPINDLED OR MUTILATED NOR CAN I BE LABELED" I further believe we should all endeavor not to say anything to anyone on this thread that we would fear saying to the persons face, since to do so is to be a COWARD of the lowest degree. We have all been damaged enough by the " DIVIDE AND CONQUEOR" taught in basic PSYCH 101'courses.and look what a disaster the American Culture has become. Our Highest Scoring Students are now even with the Oriental Cultures Lowest Student Scores. What is wrong with this Picture???? It is as simple as Reading and Math' :-( It is time to "Clean up our act" OK. Edwarda, I just saw this. Your PM makes sense now. Anyway, my thoughts: Alexander, I think your point is well taken and not just for JLA. There has been far too much yelling and flinging verbal furniture around on this thread of late. Thank you for that observation. Lots of us can use the reminder that this is not one of the political threads, where a free-for-all is understood from the beginning. I don't agree. This thread along with the others in the "Coffee Shop" are discussion/opinion threads. Vigorous exchange is a good thing, IMO. I believe the format in the Coffee Shop countenances more latitude than on the stock threads. Weapons should be checked at the door. Which reminds me of a bumper sticker which says: "They can have my gun when they pry it from my cold dead fingers! <ggg> JLA
