Quad: Could I have your and others' opinions?

There is so much discussion on the various boards re WS and analysts, with 90% negative re the sophistication and knowledge of the analysts. There is constant carping about how blind and dumb these people are. I find this hard to believe. These people make a living off of doing due diligence, and are most likely better educated and more experienced than the investors on these boards. Posters continually denigrate Wall Street's ability to see the forthcoming "blockbuster, killer app, lock-in" coming down the pipe. According to these posters, somehow they know what's happening and the Market does not. While I don't doubt that many analysts make mistakes(until they get fired), I think that The Street knows exactly where and why its bets are placed, especially vis-a-vis stocks like NOVL which is now under accumulation.

What do you think?
