Earnings (average Zack's) estimate raised to $.64 today for Apache (APA) - 4th Quarter. IMHO Apache has responded very effectively to the coming Boom 2000 -01. Buying the Shell properties in GOM and Western Canada, as well as the discoveries off Australia have made APA a bigger company. If they can do it with 7% financing, that's a lot better than issuing new stock. I'll be buying more tomorrow - at the right price. Picked up PGO at 15 and more FLC at 12.25 as well as APA today.

Have the fundamentals changed? Not enough to keep me from buying. And if I screw up, I won't blame Slider or anyone else except the guy in the mirror.

Take care all. Winkman
