Terry, i'm not trading the gold stocks, since i bought them strictly due to my LT views and near 20-year lows...that is not to say that i'm not a bit disappointed by the poor auction, but i'm also not surprised, since we were going higher into the auction, and expectations were way too high. anyway, i'm hanging on since i expect run-away inflation to be in the offing sooner or later, and the gold market will no doubt begin to react to that.

the mythical BK could happen next year, or it could happen this week...i really don't know. but i do know that it WILL happen and will be transformed from myth to legend.

oh yes, a healthy 404 new lows...

Your link shows that on the NYSE (rummy exchange
if there ever was one -s-), 11% of the issues
traded today hit new 52-week lows.

Meanwhile, on the exchange-of-choice, the NASDAQ
shows a picture of "healthy", high-beta stocks even
though the "leadership", as represented by the NDX100,
was down 1.7%.

'Tis only a scratch.
