as a volunteer SI Guardian, i have been receiving email from bryan pertaining to their plans. so have a half dozen other members. i have become so disenchanted with the process that i decided a week ago not to participate any longer. after reading a rambling email from bryan that pretty much said, "this is the way it's going to be, we never promised you otherwise", i lost all further interest in providing feedback. i do not have the email because i deleted it a day or two ago. maybe cheeky kid or august west or LRR or any of the other guardians will post the reply. maybe it's already been posted, i do not know. to this day i continue to be completely disbelieving of the fact that SI could be so unconcerned about their member's wishes and preferences. there is no way on god's green earth that the majority of membership wanted these changes. it's been a ramrod job from the beginning, with token attempts to appease the more vocal classic lovers. si remains a good place to meet and greet. the format has just suffered immensely. :) mark
