Jim Have you noticed that when we have an outbreak of sniping at one another, it occurs on a day like today? If we were up 4%, all would be sweetness and light. People should realize that this type of venting can be caused by frustration with a non-cooperative market. I agree that Slider has made some mistakes and still over-reacts to criticism but I hope he has learned from it. He is an important poster here and it is silly for anyone to use him as a scapegoat for their own bad decisions. No one has to leave, Slider or his detractors....we just need to grow up. I think we are losing good contributors here because of this nonsense. People turned off by this stuff drift away. John

OT JimL "I have other issues with Slider, but overall they are minor compared to his valuable DD". Silder contends that we "anklebiters" have posted nothing of substance to this board, as opposed to his volumes. Disagree. Nothing Slider writes can be trusted, therefore his DD is worthless. The guy knows his stuff alright, but one never knows when he is slanting to deceive. Slider's detractor's perform a valuable service: they warn novice investors about his motives. Can you picture Slider married? No way!
