fwiw, something is going to displace silicon. It's not clear what that is, nor that Intel's Gorilla position will carry over to the new technology. Is SiC deemed a potential displacement for Silicon? Another possibility for the next generation, btw, is IBM's copper-on-silicon technology. Do you have any idea how the various possibilities might break out?

Best,
JS

Unclewest,
I wouldn't let that old fart, Frank, deter you. I have been following Cree for a long time and owned it at one time. I am not interested in making a case for its potential gorilladome but I do think it has some characteristics.

Remember that Cree is a semiconductor enabler (SiC) and almost by definition GGamers seem to avoid such companies-- Intel is the exception.

I think you should continue posting about Cree. But, try to help us understand the company.

Regards.
