All: COMS is heading south in after hours trading in a way well beyond the explanation of profit taking or a sector hit. What gives? Bill

RE: CSCO vs COMS. Is it more reasonable to compare COMS to QCOM instead of CSCO? I am speaking purely from a stock price standpoint. QCOM stagnated for several years in a narrow trading range, whereas CSCO has had a monotonic increase.

Also, someone (I think it was Mehryadad) who brought up the issue of patents that 3Com has. FWIW, here is the number of patents issued todate for 1998-99 to these 3 cos:

QCOM: 187
COMS: 100
CSCO: 75
