The great American short story of the millenium: fear and greed; loathing and exhilaration; humiliation and hubris; all at the click of a mouse.

Ecommerceman..

Your writ and wit was not only good for comic relief, you've given us something of philosophical import too. There is no Social Science to reveal the mysteries of the market.. (I've friends with Professor of Philosophy Degrees - PhD's - in Economics who won't venture into the workings of Wall Street no more than they'd be caught peeking up a young girl's skirt.. it's all too dark and inaccessible) The Truths of the Market belong to Market Mystics. If there would be such a thing as a fact, then the erroneousness of this beastly game in which we think and play at being analysts is the surest and firmist fact that we can lay eyes upon.

Sincerely
Marty

I was pointed over here by a friend on SI.
I have to tell you your post was the funniest, most enjoyable post I've read in a long time. I am not in any way making fun of your stress during the pre market activities - it's your wit that is remarkable!

I'm so glad you covered and made it out alive. See, good things do happen to nice people.

Come over to the Point and Figure thread. We love funny people like you :-)

Jan I am
