I suppose in some respects you could actually think you have faith to be a "good moral" person. So? What faith do you claim? Do you claim you are your own god? Do you pray to a wooden god? Bronze? Do you satisfy your own appetite and say to yourself, it is good? Did you go bang right into the universe? What is your story, BK just to harass Christians? woo. Am I "One of those" because I speak this way?

You just continue to play your games BK, that is ok, they are easy enough to see and read, but remember you are but a vapor. Seen a vapor lately?

Only a fool says there is no God.

Psalms 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."
Psalms 53:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."

And only God Almighty can made provision to save you. Not out of any merit on your part, but because you are poor, and hungry, and naked. Jesus is your salvation. You may walk away. That is your right to do it. But then remember...vapor.

"If anyone would come after me(Jesus), he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me(Jesus). For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man(Jesus) is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he(Jesus) will reward each person according to what he has done.

Badkarma, hello! welcome back! I suppose a lot of people were gone for the holiday. I hope you and your wife enjoyed it.

So many honest people of so many differing faiths, make the same comments about their faith as you have concerning yours. It makes one wonder if there isn't something behind all of those faiths, yours included, that makes it true for each of them?

Yes, Yes, there is something behind it. And I believe it is pure, unconditional love! The path that I take to it is Jesus Christ. But who am I to say that other paths don't lead to the same destination?

C Kahn

Badkarma, You know that I'm a Christian, and I believe that the only way for salvation is through Jesus Christ. It would be wrong to say that I don't want other people to believe in Jesus, as well. When you have something that is wonderful, it's only natural that you would want to share it. And having said this, the point of my earlier message was, that if I have explained all that I can with you about Jesus, which I think I've done pretty well, and you choose not to agree with my beliefs, I will still respect you, and love you as a fellow human being. As Jesus said "Love one another." He didn't say "Only Love people who agree with you."

John.15
[17] This I command you, to love one another.

Gal.5
[14] For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
[22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Matt.5
[43] "You have heard that it was said, `You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
[44] But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
[46] For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
Luke.6
[31] And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.
[32] "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
[36] Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.

1Cor.4
[21] What do you wish? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love in a spirit of gentleness?

When we discuss the Bible, I wish more people would consider the teachings of Jesus.
