jw,

When I ordered the new PC yesterday, didn't think I'd need a fast CD ROM on that one but added it today to handle TC. Cardinal rule of TC in the 7 years I've had them: always run it on the fastest machine because it's such a resource hog. But was hoping to display the output through the older system during the day.

The PIA for me is putting out Morning Trader for my web site every afternoon. Requires TC, MS Access, MS Word, Home Site 4.0, Notepad and WS-FTP in sequence to upload to the web. Would be nice to mix .exe locations as I use those programs for other stuff. Probably can still do so since the meat is all ascii anyway.

Alan

Naw. Sharing data (as opposed to programs) is relatively straightforward. I'll bet you TC2000 will run from both with only one set of data and one CD on one machine. You will probably have to install the PROGRAM on both machines, but you should only have to update the daily data on one of them.

It's possible to keep a program from using a CD that's not in a local CD drive, but I doubt very much that TC2000 does so.
