Jim, what a month, eh? Well deserved for all of us. There's going to be a roller coaster ride the likes of which would never be allowed to be built in an amusement park. But once you go around 2 or 3 times, the free-falls aren't all that frightening anymore... Just wait, you ain't seen nothin' yet. I could see a private Alta Vista buying a public Lycos or merging as equals, similar to the proposed merger (still hotly litigated by a disgruntled Pfizer) by American Home Products and Warner Lambert. And the transaction adding an additional $20B in market cap to CMGI as a result of the financial gymnastics within 9 - 18 months. Can you say "Double"? And, that's just one transaction. In your state, it ought to be illegal to invest in this stock without a seatbelt... Tag 'em! Mark
