Don Kelly.....Many of us announce what we've bought at what price or what we are watching. That is "pumping??" Mutual respect assumes that we are all intelligent and responsible enough to perform our own dd before buying and that each of us determines his or her own selling point. Obviously we all hope for a rise in price, the sooner the better. The stated purpose of this thread is for short to mid-term holds. Some of those (the fun ones!) ARE momentum plays, yes....and identified as such. Many of us post our exits and prices, obviously after we've exited. It would be idiotic to post "I hope to exit XYZ soon at 22 7/16". That is your definition of "dumping??" The conversation that goes on here is for the purpose of sharing crucial information and also some opinions, because most of the traders respect each others abilities and take a "united we stand" approach to this challenge. Of course we all hope for personal gain, why else would we be doing this? Yet we've seen Kimberly work herself to exhaustion, take the time to answer PM's and posts, and not short or exit a stock she had previously called, out of concern that someone who may have bought on her recommendation might be hurt if he wasn't able to exit as well in a timely manner.

Your post is insulting to Kimberly. If we are all to work together productively those kinds of insinuations have no place here.

Regards,

Laura

Don,

Many of us on this thread post our entry and exit prices, many do not.
What is important is that we are very happy to post here.
A majority of us are pretty experienced traders and the newbies are learning quickly.

I see you have been on SI since '96, and you post on Anthony's thread and Auric's. What would make you decide to come over and question Kimberly is beyond me.

Anyone who has been on SI as long as you have, well knows experienced posters hardly need saving from themselves.

Good luck with your trades.

Fred

Hey Don, you don't have the slightest clue what is fiction or non-fiction, or the kind of supportive, relatively safe learning space this thread is, for many that are new to the game.

There are a wide variety of picks that are offered up here, by many
now who are both regular posters or like to drop by for a friendly little spot of promotion/dd/chat/thought sharing...it is indeed a pretty friendly "thread for all seasons" , here, for we made $$ even in the dead of summer, playing the pennies. and the successes were many and so many of those pennies...are not pennies any more.
EBAS,SCKT,SYCD,EDIG,HRCT, and many many more. enough said, there.

I'll freely allow Kimberly to speak for herself , if and when she chooses tomorrow to reply to your post. Maybe many here do follow Kim's suggestions, and that is not so much by her calculating and depending on that , but a concious and gracious effort to share
and let others participate if they choose. some are momentum stocks that do require some agile thinking, and swift trading....

and yet there are so many picks as well, offered here by Kim & others, which have also led to huge gains consistently, & were, great companies that doubled and tripled!

... and were extremely safe position plays, that all you had to do was buy, and then just walk away! LOL. You obviously don't have a clue.... & that's on you.
And you'll find many of those picks here too. Just too many , now that I think of it, to try to name for you.

*It is very much a jungle out there, ( do you know how to yahoo? LOL)
but whether some want to try their hands daytrading and risk a burn here or there, that's in the nature of the game....that's how you learn the art and strokes of the keys....to think fast , reacting quickly to a variety of levels of "greed and fear",psychologies and market condition... yet always learning to find your own threshold in the mangement of risks inherent there....and learning of the making of your own calls.

I think it very possible too many expect everything to go up, when there are much larger forces out there than this thread to say what goes up or down....and it matters little, anyways if you play the swings in the right way, which during the day we try to achieve a helpful real-time "call" , which doesn't always come true.

But when this thread is hot it is the hottest....and some of the nicest I've met on the net ,too ....

I'm pounding the table for TMNG, how does that sound to you?
Ever heard of them? LOL! (tell everyone to short it too!)

--->So feel free to contribute something real of your own, and post in advance so others can know when to get in and make very wonderful gains, and you'll experience something new....and truly be : a great stock picker too. All it takes is hours, and days and months and years, to learn how this to do! And Kim and others here have helped me grow and manage to profit too.

****one more thing i have to say here, and that is that i have five screens of twenty stocks each i monitor, 4 of the screens today were showing 75% red, and the last screen that was 75% green , was the monitor filled mostly with picks that came from the Kimberly Lee thread: "Cents and sensibilities>.....go figure. :-)))
,

:-)

2MAR$
welcome to the thread....have a nice day.

Don Kelly,

By reading your posts,I see that you are a SHORT by nature.

YOU HAVE MISSED MAKING A LOT OF MONEY ON THIS THREAD.

Had you invested in ONLY Kimberly's IPO's,you would have been one happy camper.
If Kimberly feels that a certain stock has VALUE,she will put out a BUY.That doesn't mean that they will all go up.
I am very happy with this THREAD,AND IF YOU WILL READ BACK TO KIMBERLY'S POSTS,YOU WILL SEE HER PICKS ARE IN GENERAL HUGELY SUCCESSFUL.
Have a nice day,

Manny T.

Some more questions for Ms. Lee, please:

Do you sometimes privately disclose your stock picks to other SI members before publicly posting them? If so, do some of those people afterwards endorse your picks on this thread? If they do, do they receive any form of compensation? Thanks.
