My first wireless internet message! I'm sitting in my car on top of Mt. Erie, WA and the 14.4 connection worked like a charm, first time. Thanks to Qualcomm and Airtouch. Airtouch provided the data cable from the Thinphone to the laptop. Time to connect was much, much faster than a regular modem, I didn't time it but it was 5 seconds or so (thanks to 3Coms quick net connect). So fast it is possible to just connect as needed to send e-mail (or this message). I'm not too skeptical about anything Qualcomm says. Off to surf the wireless web! Bux
