OT, FWIW

Nice article for thinking in broad strokes. Let some ideas percolate for awhile and be prepared to pounce in the future. Luck has been defined by some as the intersection of the right time and prior planning. The prepared mind is more likely to see the opportunity and create its own luck so to speak.

I doubt that the story is true. His broker -- even a discount broker -- would have been all over him with margin calls, unless he had very deep pockets, in which case, the guy wouldn't have been so stupid as to let his losses run so large.

Brian - the more I read the story - the less truth I see in the words. They just don't bleed enough emotion under the circumstances.
