But in fact, it didn't work, from what I could see! It was an odd new beta glitch. I clicked to submit it, and instead of seeing the post I'd just submitted, I saw an old post of mine. So I backed up and tried again, and it took me back in time to the old post. So I backed up, got it, and pasted it into a new window. One time I sent three PM's and on the third, realized that it had posted publicly, not as a PM at all. (To some thread I'd never been to.) I was within my fifteen minute window for all three, so went and deleted them all, counting my blessings that there was nothing mortifying there! I messaged Jill, and learned that the same thing had happened to a couple of other people that day. That wasn't with beta, it was with classic. I got funny PM's when this story got around from people writing OH my GOD, when I saw that that could happen I almost FAINTED!
