Wafa: Daimler has said all along that, while they believe that PEM is the right technology to try for cars, that FCL's carbonate is much better for stationary power. That is perhaps why DCX has never put a dime into BLDP's stationary power joint venture, even though it is highly likely that it was invited to do so. Of course DCX is indirectly involved in PEM stationary through its shares in BLDP, but it also (through MTU, which is ninety something percent owned by DCX) owns about 10% of FCL. Perhaps this announcement will remind people of DCX's opinion on the matter.
