My eagerness to see earnings results is because the earnings, if good, could be an indicator that GMST is entering its tornado. ... Perhaps this will be a case where raw numbers or earnings as a percent of revenues will be a key factor.

Not that earnings don't eventually become a critical factor that affects the price of a stock, but I don't remember anywhere in the manual that a tornado is measured by earnings. It's revenue, folks! In the tornado, market share is EVERYTHING, not earnings. Earnings will come in the top of the bell curve if not sooner.

True, important.
The other thing I like to see (especially when there is no earnings record) is profit going up as much as or more than sales: to me it means efficient management.
