El,

We need to end this conversation since I really can't follow you're line of thinking. Sorry :( VoIP can and does run on wireless nets. Wireless does not preclude VoIP. To say VoIP is doomed is extremely short sighted IMHO. Stop thinking about spigets and bandwidth and start thinking about services - value added services which carriers can charge for. That might help you out. Good luck!

Is VoIP doomed? Having agreed that voice will go wireless, what chances does VoIP -squeezing voice into the LAN-WAN interconnection- stand?

Why are you wasting your time here? Go short all the Cisco you can, right now! When Cisco goes bankrupt and the stock's worthless then you'll be rich!
