Not at all. These methods, relying on "the count" give a false precision which, while perhaps appropriate to well behaved large capitalized trading issues, will only serve to get you lost in the trees within the forest for an ill behaved emotionally inspired stock.

Actually, the simpler the better. Anything which can identify the trend yet at the same time be capable of fast adaptation by the "eye" of the viewer would be best suited. Higher highs, lower lows or a simple trendline (drawn to a judiciously scaled chart (ie. not the 30 Min.) would do very well.

AXC, the stock, will shortly be subjected to unimaginable volatility as corporate, fundamental, and "Street" industry news is released into the trading vortex. I would expect that even volume confirmations will, at times, become deceptive.
