Watch for short covering and a nice intra-day reversal.

Looks, acts, walks & talks like a bottom here imho.

I think the shorts are prudent to cover pre-API today. I saw some at the close yesterday and expect to see some strong short covering today.

This was another "wink & a nod" short run. For the most parts the fundies stepped aside and let the shorts have a free ride here. Now the shorts should cover after a nice little run. While tonights API's can present some week to week anomalies; I beleive the next 2-3 weeks overall draws will be powerfully bullish.

The plays remain the crude balanced E&P's - but; the risk vs. reward on the Nat Gas pureplays like NBL are near once in a cycle lows imho. NBL has returned to January-esque price levels; near a 5 year low here ! Not only has the entire Winter Nat Gas story been written off here in NBL; but the huge cap ex increase in 2000 over 1999 is being wrongly ignored. NBL is looking like a screaming call option trading opp. Big, big possibilities in this one.

NBL $21 to my Q2 2000 target of $30-35 - can I call that 50% - 67% upside a "chip shot" - it will be...

It is worth a look to go back and review the OSX & E&P moves during the '97 & 98 run-ups. The stage is set imho...
