JDSU's RP line hs been soaring, with extremely brief corrections, for the past year. ......The product of a March 1999 merger between JDS FITEL and Uniphase, JDSU has become the biggest supplier of fiber optic components for the telecom and cable TV industries. CEO KK said in a recent interview that bandwidth will be the next big revolution in technology. He believes the fiber optic industry is going to be as significant as the silicon chip industry and in time could be more important.
