OT Ratan, One thing to check would be stop all streaming data to/from your PC, they can be a drag on system resources causing temporary sound card problems.

To help with thread bloat lets take dialpad chat private.

Also, regarding SI servers being slow: One thing that works for me, if you hit "Next" and see that you're bogging down. Hit "Stop" and then hit "Next" again. It often kicks right in at full speed.
