shorting: lee, i don't post here much, but i've actually been short intraday the past 2 weeks almost every day. i'm only in a couple stocks at a time, for no more than a few hundred shares. sometimes, i catch 'em (INTU yesterday morning); sometimes, i don't...

but i'm not looking to ride them all the way down, even on companies i hate (pcln, for one). i'll leave the whole turkey to someone with bigger pockets than i; i just want to grab a small piece of meat and be on my way...

shorting, Thanks..I get lots of e-mail from shorters but they are usually shorting what I'm long on... but there are scores of subscribers who want more and more shorts, but I say I'm really not good enough to put 'shorts' on watch lists, which is why I do them all on the open thread... In the very near future, I'll have a 'pro' check out my shorts then I'll post them for our subscribers. We will also indicate when a 'long' candidate on watch list might be a good short if it follows a certain intraday pattern without "betraying" our watch list choice.

Shorting... Lee, you and Jenna aren't the only ones... I'm short (PUTS) ETYS, VERT, BVSN, and MCOM since Friday and some more Monday... long NEON... may start closing them today before close. This softness may start firming up soon.

Cheers,
SF
