If you want to see a complete mockery of patents and trademarks, you have to look no further than:
1. TRW trying to patent some 300th mile orbit around the globe.
2. Some Texas company trying to patent Basmati.
3. A German company trying to patent and trademark everything that has to do with Neem tree.
