Dear Dan : Speaking of lung capacity; the lady last week that came back to the Lord after 4 years away, Doris. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. O2 containers were stacked 3 high all over her living room. She had emphysema. She ran the isles of our church and sang a 5 verse song. She was healed and the last time I talked to her she was off O2 for over a week. Hey. 12 % to 15 % IS GREAT> PRAISE THE LORD> Amen. It's keeping you alive isn't it !! It's great to be alive isn't it. Enjoying your family !! I'm praising the Lord for that 12 to 15 %. We all here still have you. I am enjoying you. also. Praise God. But I believe that with praise we can get you to 20 % or 25% or 39% or whatever God will allow. If I can praise the Lord on your behalf and He gets you to 18 % you will take that and run with it won't you. A free gift. Amen. For just a little praise.. Amen. His grace is sufficient isn't it ? It's keeping you alive isn't it ? How about 68 % or 82 %. you would take that too wouldn't you ? Oh yes I'll never stop praising Him for you.In Christ. Gregor

My grandfather died of lung disease at a young age. My father also has emphysema. He's off oxygen now however but whenever he gets a cold he goes back to the hospital. I was diagnosed 7 years ago and was taking all the sprays and steroids but my lungs are so healed that the doctor said he would now have a hard time declaring that I was anything other than "out of shape". I hated being that way. Could not make it up the stairs without puffing like mad. Also the telephone really showed it up. People would always ask if I ran to get the phone from outside because they could hear my lungs on the phone. Now I still puff if I go up a flight of stairs but I recover very quickly. Bottom line... I do not want to die young or suffer at all.. but I just Thank Jesus for saving me and look to that place in every case. I just had one of my best friends in the Lord ever pass on this January of the same thing. Too old for a lung transplant. The lungs are too precious to give to older people I guess. However... Thank-you Lord for your most Precious Gift... life eternal! 2Cor 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
