Fascinating! Am I correct that you are saying that this was a short squeeze by experienced short players taking advantage of inexperienced short players? Talk about taking advantage of greed, uncertainty and fear in rapid order, WOW. I guess this is one more argument against dabbling in the dark art of shorting stocks; especially stocks with a serious liquidity problem. I bet a lot of the folks that lost money knew little or nothing about the fundamentals of the company or the market for their products. Sort of like bellying up to the crap table without knowing the rules or the odds. Steve

I can tell you I started shorting it at 9 1/2 till 20 and again in a separate account from 30 to 54 . I was severly underwater most of friday and of course had a major margin call on Monday. Thanks to a great firm, and a huge POS and the gaurantee from A@P that I would have any help necessary to make that call if needed. It allowed me to take off to a nice vacation with all this pending. Well Monday came, the POS died, My call never needed to be met , and I put over 50k in my pocket as i watched from an oceanside bar with limited internet access in the carribbean. I might have played it better and made 150k instead, but I am content qith my win. If you allocate properly, a win is just a matter of time.
