"... as they see no substantial near-term catalysts for the stock....."

I can come up with several potential near term catalysts.

1st - Monthly procedure volume numbers - The CC revealed that November volume has been very strong.

2nd - Analyst capitulation as the indications of a strong Q are confirmed and numbers go back up.

3rd - The ITC decision with VISX and its implications for industry pricing.

4th - VISX licensing deals with Lasersight and B&L.

5th - Potential M&A activity that LVCI management mentioned as possible.

My guess is the analyst is "seeing" what he wants to see and no more.

"Pacific Growth Equities?" I'm not impressed.
