Dear Roadkill: We seem to share the same thoughts. Overall I am reasonably confident about WCOM so long as some Regulators dont throw a monkey wrench in. I would just like to get more as cheap as possibe. My current basis is 75 and would like to keep it close to that level. JDN

I agree about this being disconcerting; unusual on no news. Bottom line is the stock has been underperforming for quite a while, notwithstanding what Jack Grubman and everyone else believes/says. I suspect, but have no corroboration, that folks have renewed cold feet about the FON deal passing AT muster, and/or the "price" to be paid to get clearance; either from the EC or domestically.
