Voltaire Wish You Were Here! I just had to steal this tidbit. I hope you don't mind me bringing this over..

Stolen from YAHOO!!!

One must realize with QCOM one of it's greatest assets is it's greatest curse and that is AMBIGUITY. In the final analysis it will bring us a fortune but in the embryonic stage of any high technology it can be very confusing. In other words, just as you are asking, " is the Intel news good for us ", now if someone as informed as you is pondering this can you imagine what some new investor or analyst must be thinking. This ambiguity also lends itself to tremendous manipulation, all the MM's have to do is take just a small thing about say the CSCO news and twist it into a stream of fear inducing tidbits. Why are the Houses not extolling the good news, BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL BUYING IN HERE! I realize that when a stock is descending it is hard for people to see this but just watch what happens around the 12 or 13th of Dec., QCOM will make AOL's move look miniscule. If I am trying to accumulate this stock I am not going to tell you how great some news is, I WILL TELL YOU AFTER I HAVE BUILT MY POSITION!

As for what is happening to the markets at the present time, I have said all along that there is a small window between the last week of Nov. and the first week of Dec. when the Houses could try to bring this market back and they are attempting this now but it will not stick because there is no CATALYST.

Still buying and would you believe I have now accumulated over two hundred contracts of the DEC. 500's, those are the ones no one wants and all they have averaged me is about 1.25. Now let us all see who is the FOOL!

Voltaire (Stolen and Posted by Dealer)

Hey Voltaire if you are reading SI! I bought me some of the Dec. 500's from my petty cash account.

Eugene: Thank you. That is probably the only and most efficient explaination I've heard. I do agree that the day to day 'bumps' can seem drastic at the time, but long term they are almost invisible.

Maybe that is why we build both luxury cars and SUV's. Something for everyone.

Happy hunting.
