We've gone round and round on that one ..

You can watch the TYX.X which is the interest rate for the thirty year or US9Z which is the December futures.

Seems like each bond has it's own value based on tons of variables.

Worse .. they seperate the base value from the interest payments .. in other words you can, if you wish to, purchase just the interest payments without buying the bond itself .. so then that bond (without interest payments) has a lower value ..

I don't know if anyone here has ever found the symbol for charting the cash value of the long bond .. if there is such a critter.
