Jill! I have purchased Dec. 500's with petty cash that is sitting in my account(making nothing).......it is not enough to purchase very many shares and certainly not enough to buy any other contracts. Why Dec. 500's. Not much to lose and could be a gain if things turn out as we all hope they will this month. I did not bet the farm.......Purchased a few contracts for $100 per contract. My other contracts (the majority of my portfolio are in April 400's. No Magic! No Secret! I guess you might say I need the Dec 500's to keep the blood flowing. Certainly not worried about my April 400's... I am with Brown and pay 7.00 per online trade and usually do not even figure it into my trades it is so small. Happy Trading!! dealer
