Ted:

Not trying to be an a**hole and probably demise was the wrong word. A few posts back you seemed to be very confident about the fact that in the next several weeks INTC would head south. That is why I asked. I don't short stocks either (same reason as you). But if I did Intel would probably be last on my list. In my opinion trying to call short term movements like that is a losing game. I have held a considerable amount of INTC for the last 7 years and will hold it for another 20. You are also aware that I am also just recently long AMD as well as I think there is considerable upside in the stock over the next 12 months. With only 2 real players in the industry and a strong demand cycle in the next 12-36 mos. those who concentrate on the fight and not the results and let emotion determine their decisions will be missing an opportunity. It is an excellent time to be acquiring both INTC and AMD on weakness like today. Just my very humble opinion.
