Jeff, I don't think he necessarily expects 500 in a few weeks. From what I understand (and thanx to being educated by a PM just now from somebody else who understands this play), if you can buy 100 or 200 of these options, and don't mind losing the cash, the option only has to move up a point or two or three to make a huge amount of $. Right now they are less than $1. Q doesn't have to reach 500 to make some nice profit.

I believe over on MSFT thread t2 used to play these kind of short term way out of the money options on MSFT once he'd closely studied the trading range and patterns each month and season. For a while there MSFT was extremely predictable. And I remember one Thursday a few months ago when both Teflon and T2 played some MSFT options the day before expiry and both made about 300%.

Hi Jeff,

I really don't think you're too late (we'll ask you next July when you've doubled your money). Where's Jim Willie when we need him?

Here's my feeble attempt:

We've already moved through 400 (to 406).
The stock is currently at 370, so a move to 500 is a 38% move from here, and a 25% move from our high of 406.

We're anticipating a 4:1 split at the end of December.

We're anticipating the announcement of the sale of the handset division.

We're anticipating a December tech rally.

Help me with this, guys.
