MRCY a great example of the power of a stock split. I posted the analyst comments on the thread the Monday BEFORE it happened. He made a great call.

short RHAT 218 5/32, in YHOO Dec 220 puts, out long positions except those above 75% day high. CELG surged in 59 (11/30) and out at 64.. .. hope you listened for BEBE.. I would NOT get into serious puts or shorting.. This is just a short term shorty short. I won't be holding a short overnight unless the stock is like SIFY.. RHAT, I just don't think will correct 33 points overnight.

Remember to see the trading day as made up of 3 main parts that are really mutually exclusive:

a) the first hour, usually trades dry up by 11:30 lunch break..

b) the mid afternoon giant 3 hour break from 11:30 -2:30 some stocks may be making their moves out of consolidation at this time and

c) the all important last hour of trading 'ridin bronco bull' or 'Smokey the Bear'.... That is how you should look at each trade Take your profit, move on unless your stock won't quit. Watch your 5 and 10 minute charts for those volatile 10 point spread ones.. I almost always just look at the 5-minute charts now for exit and 10 for entry.. Always have a 'big picture' daily or 60 min chart though in front at all times...

CELG in twice since November 30. It was a sleeper for a while but it recovered. Currently I don't hold CELG but do hold CEGE, HYSQ, CTII Waiting to reenter GLGC after a much needed rest. GLGC dropped below its 10 day moving average on Monday, not much when you consider the ADX did not budge and remains at a superhigh 62, indicative that the major uptrend is intact. techstocks.com
