Well gang - it's time to "give something back" and here is Lance's post to get the ball rolling. Remember, we have only 3 weeks to pull this off. The following link will take you to the American Cancer society and you will find the local chapter in your state to find a local hospital to donate to. cancer.org

ATTENTION ALL THREAD FOLLOWERS-
as all who know us from the wayne(no hypsters days to the wr &lb to
the otc garbage dump thread days, wayne, tom, and i have always thought we are very lucky people to have an
opportunity to do this and actually make a living at it to..we have always felt that we have been fair to everyone
here and try to make it so others can enjoy the success we do,but we have always stressed that at times it is very
important to give something back as a way to show your appreciation for just how lucky we are and if possible
to make a difference in a otherwise hard and cold and what have done for me lately world we live in...we have
never asked people to donate from their own,we are asking those that portfolio's that are in the green directly
from what we do here to give back to others...in the upcoming weeks their will be more information coming
available on this project, but i ask now for all to give it a thought as the holiday season approaches and for
anybody that would like to help in anyway to just send me a p.m..
again thank you to all and i know that my trio will try to make it even easier in the next two months by making
us more money so we have more to give...it is not something as an obligation(but if that is the only way so well
be it)but rather some token of us feeling and reaching our hearts again..below is the project that is getting
started, now let's make a difference and not just be takers like most of the people out there...

First Annual Holiday Toy Drive For Cancer Kids

Welcome to the First Annual Holiday Toy Drive For Cancer Kids thread. We've all had quite a year here on
Silicon Investor and shared in some incredible opportunities. I am reminded that one of the true joys in life is
the ability to give something back to the community. One of the communities I feel especially close to is the
children's cancer community and the ongoing projects to bring cures and elevate their lives.

With the holidays rapidly approaching, I invite you all to do something extraordinary for the cancer kids in
our community. Let's reach out to our entire community of traders and have everyone make a contribution of
new toys to their local cancer hospital for kids.

Just imagine the joy and appreciation that every child with cancer will feel when they wake up to a glorious
mountain of toys for the holidays. With every child's laughter and joy we restore, this world becomes a better
place for all of us. Thanks for taking on the challenge and joining the First Annual Holiday Toy Drive For
Cancer Kids.

As we prepare for the next century, let's make this the best holiday yet for our beloved cancer children.

For the toy drive for cancer kids project on the previous post Message 12149971 - I mentioned this project to a friend of mine in New Jersey who runs a dental lab. He was so moved that he is doing a fax blast to all his dental clients providing thousands of toys for cancer kids. And all it took was one simple call.

Remember - we can do this alone or we can contact the most powerful and influential people around us. Either way, we can all really make a huge difference.

Thanks everybody.......Norms
