"If I had to put my maiden aunt into stocks tomorrow, and not worry about her having to end up paring cheese in an attic, I would put her into MSFT, INTC, CSCO, and QCOM, 25% each, and sleep nights knowing she could always live off them for the next 10 years. They are going to be around and do well for a long time."

I agree with you about maiden aunts and the Russian Army approach to investing (well sorta) You must agree that you prefer the returns of those new simians? I also agree that MSFT and INTC will be around forever. I love both companies. They are largely responsible for me being able to beat Uncle Frank to this role of private investor. In any case, I suspect as time goes on they will pale in returns at an increasing rate. By the way, what return have you indicated we should target as Gorilla hunters?
