(shorting) jenna - i greatly appreciate you posting your shorts in RT, because it's helping me to 'see' what others see.

i don't mean blindly duplicating, of course, but to have an idea what to look out for. i still couldn't have 'caught' cmgi so well on its way down today, but i'm learning by seeing which stocks go down after runups, and what their charts / patterns / market conditions look like WHEN they go down.

i read a book by kathryn staley (spelling?) on shorting, which is considered excellent by some. i got more use out of it NOT for its shorting techniques, but for learning how to read a company's balance sheet, etc. and if that company had problems as the 'shortable' companies, to avoid going long (which doesn't mean going short). my feeling is there are thousands of stocks out there, and i'm only going to be in a couple - why not make it the 'best' ones i can find?

AGIL, EIDSY GLM, RDC..

The oil service sector looks oversold, and these could be morning gappers.
They are cheap enough and there is also options available in most others (HAL, DO, etc.)

EIDSY looks like another gapper but you have to be a 'believer' as I said many times before.. EIDSY always is good for 72 to 90 and even 95 although I never remained that long.

AGIL trigger a 'picture perfect' buy signal at 113.. on 15 minute chart.. as a longer term hold 129 would be a significant breakout... I WOULD NOT hold AGIL over night but take your profits where you have them. You might miss a few but if NASDAQ finally corrects todays buy trigger of AGIL could possibly be a bear flag false alarm.
